Commitment Ceremonies
The commitment ceremony is not a legal ceremony. It is a public statement of committed love by two people devoted to each other. It can be deeply meaningful and very satisfying to the couple involved. Even though it may not be legally binding, it doesn’t mean that it is any less special. It’s still a celebration of love and can be one of the most important days of your lives.
Renewal of Vows
Renewal of vows is for those couples who have already been married. It is not a legal ceremony. It is for those who wish to renew the vows they had taken some time ago; this might occur on a significant anniversary. Wedding anniversaries are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with a renewal ceremony, possibly involving children and grandchildren.
The renewal of vows is the occasion for you to look back, reflect on the present and to embrace the future together. They are a special way you can declare your love for each other in front of your family and friends. The occasion can bring together people who were guests at your wedding as well as your children perhaps grandchildren and other loved ones.
Civil Partnerships
Sometimes two people who are committed to each other, do not wish to be married. Commitment ceremonies are for couples who have made a commitment to each other and wish to formalise the union by publicly declaring their promises in the presence of family and friends.
The ceremony can be created in a form and with wording of the couples choice. I will be very happy to assist you as a couple, to prepare for this ceremony. I will provide you with a Certificate of Commitment.
